Conveniently located near West Lake and metro line 2 entrances. Low-cost option for exploring Hangzhou. Clean and nice rooms. Nearby foot massage places are cheap and good. I would recommend this hotel.

For Christmas, we stayed at a hotel in Hangzhou. The hotel was conveniently located near several shops and restaurants. the metro station was just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The biggest issue was the noise level in our room.

Our stay in this hotel was worth it, with its reasonable price of around $45 per night. The location of the hotel may be in a back alley, but there are plenty of options of typical local businesses around, especially some small restaurants that offer good food. It's also located close enough to the West Lake; it only takes a short taxi ride to get there. The room was clean and nice!, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel staff didn't speak much English, so communication was sometimes challenging.

During my Xmas vacation, I stayed at a hotel in a quiet neighborhood with residential areas nearby. The room was clean and spacious, and the price was reasonable. The foot massage place next door was great and it was very convenient to find many massage parlors nearby.
The hotel was quite far from the main attractions of the city and it took me around 20 minutes to walk to the nearby metro station, but taxis were available. UnionPay is the only payment method accepted, which was inconvenient as I didn't have that type of card.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to the West Lake and close to the metro line. There were plenty of small restaurants nearby to eat and drink at. The staff were helpful and attentive, showing me to my room and allowing me to store my baggage on the last day.
